1 little pale star

1 little pale star... Compared to that night in the wilderness.
But then I notice more, 
Peeking shyly from behind the city-lit mist,
Quietly whispering to each other.
Then the sleepy light turns in for the night, 
And there are more of them,
Staring at me, chattering silently.
I think I recognize some.
Are you looking up?
